This certainly is a one off journal that packs a massive personality. It may be green, but it's not green if you know what I mean! Although I created it recently, it's the sort of journal that feels like it's already been on a grand journey.
It all started when my arty sister Jo gave me a piece of calico with a turps transfer on it saying: All the fun of the fair. I knew immediately I had to create something special with it. But I didn't have any paper in stock that was the right size. So I created the right size out of art card off-cuts by sewing them together. Once I created them, I put the calico on and decided I didn't actually like it so I took some off and fell instantly in love with the new look.
That's what I love about book art. If you're willing to be led down paths by your books and journals to see where they lead you, oh my, it sure is super duper exciting!
The specs for this are:
340 X 200mm with 24 pages in (if you want to write or sketch on both sides). You might not want to interact with the journal. You might just want to gaze lovingly at it on your coffee table. It really is a personal choice. Either way, it comes housed in a shipping chart pouch. Smells of coffee too which is a bit yum if you like that sort of thing.
