Queenscliff on Bellarine Peninsula,

Back by popular demand! Book Art Studios returns to the idyllic town of Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula. Last year a group of us enjoyed a fabulous few days in this quaint seaside town, so much so, we’ve decided to do it all, again!

I’m Liz Constable, Book Artist | Art Teacher | Author

Let me guide, support, encourage and entertain you through FOUR whole days of creating with the ocean as your backdrop. I’m an experienced tutor who has an extensive background in teaching. I’m good with nervous creators through to experienced artists.

How book camp works (usually), is I present three projects to the group. These are advertised in advance so you can decide if it appeals, and prepare should you choose to join us. At the beginning of camp, I demonstrate how the projects work, then you’re let loose to choose which one/s you tackle first. There’s no expectation to finish them all, you might want to do two and take one home. It’s entirely up to you as to how you manage your projects.

What to expect.

Great projects in a fabulous venue with lots of light and wonderful creative company. An experienced tutor who works alongside you who knows when to step in, and when to butt out!

It’s lovely to get to know more about each other over a glass of wine, there will be two (optional) shared dinners on, Sunday and Wednesday night.

  1. Bookings and payment: Fees for Book Camp Australia 2020 are $635 per person. You are not considered booked in until the fees are paid in full.
  2. Cancellations and refunds ‐ once a payment has been made in full there is a 7 day stand down period in which you may ask for a refund. If payment has been made via PayPal the fees will be deducted and the remainder will be returned. There are no refunds offered after the 7 day stand down period, however, we will accept another student taking your place if you can arrange it. If Book Art Studios are unable to run Book Camp for unforeseen reasons, your camp fees (less paypal fees) will be returned in full or a new date will be arranged if the attendees are agreeable. Please note, Book Art Studios are not responsible for any personal travel costs or accomodation costs.
  3. Concerns or complaints ‐ please address any concerns or complaints to Liz Constable 021022 44684 or email:
  4. Health, safety and medical conditions ‐ Book Art Studios is not liable for personal injury sustained or any lost, damaged or forgotten personal property, whilst on the premises of Queenscliff Cricket Club. Book Art Studios will aim to provide a safe learning environment to reduce the risk of injury.
  5. Contact Details ‐ Book Art Studios will use your contact details to keep you up to date regards any Book Camp news. Your details are safe and will not be shared with any other parties. All emails are sent out BCC. At camp, there is a discussion about how the camp attendees would like to stay in contact.

6. This is an important one - if you cannot stay until the end please do not book in. After trying various options, the only way to run book camp is if we'll all stay in it together until the end. With a united front we all clear up our own spaces and the shared areas. Light cleaning is required (vacuuming, washing dishes) and putting the furniture back. 13 women can do this pretty quickly!!!!
