I trained at AUT and in America with the late (and great) Richard Bolles author of the best selling book: What Color is Your Parachute? I've also run three very different businesses over 30 years.
As a creative person, it's only natural I take a creative approach to assisting people to make changes in their careers/jobs/worklife balance. Call it what you want, it's your life and you can design it however you want to.
I'm practical in my approach, and take into consideration you need to pay bills, maybe look after a family and have certain obligations that may take precedence at this time. So sometimes, all it takes is a little tweaking and a different way of looking at a situation in order to make meaningful changes in your life.
I've worked with people who have quit their high paying jobs and gone off to learn a new language in a new country. And I've worked with people who have changed their working hours to create a pocket of time for hobbies, and everything in between.
I've helped people take an idea for a business and guide and support them to make it a reality.
Sometimes one session is all someone needs or wants to give them encouragement and a way forward through what can feel like a hazy outlook. Whereas others may want more help, to delve further, perhaps feel stuck and want to take their time to figure it out.
I don't lock anyone into contracts or have a minimum number of sessions. I'm just here to help and make the process of transition as helpful and useful as I can.
Sessions can take place in person at my home studio in West Auckland, or via zoom.
One last thing. I've been there. Confused. Lost and frustrated at the lack of movement in my own life. I've been burnt out. Conditioned by society to live a predictable and safe life. I won't pretend it was a walk in the park at times to get to where I am now. And I won't pretend I'm not still working on it! But I will tell you, that too much stress kills any hope of experiencing joy in your life.
