Dyed & Gone to Heaven is my most popular class. We dye paper and do some other exciting and secret squirrel stuff to make it simply divine. You won't ever buy paper in a shop looking like this.
 
Please note, the reason this has remained a secret is that individuals attend this class for their own interests and have respected my wishes not to blog about it or teach it to others.
 
A class requirement list will be emailed upon registration.

There is a non refundable component to this booking.

If you pull out you need to speak directly to the venue regards accommodation.
The $350NZ is the non refundable deposit for the teaching fee. The full amount is $1500.

The remainder of the teaching fees need to be paid in full no later than November 1st 2026.

Accommodation costs are separate and to be paid directly to the venue Clos Mirabel Atelier.

FAQ QUESTIONS:

Q: Can I see the materials list before I register for this class?

A: I'm afraid not as it has some secret squirrel information on it that's the key ingredient in this class, so I'm sorry, I can't. But please note, the materials are easily sourced and not expensive!

Q: How much can I expect to spend on materials for this class?

If you spend more than $50US on materials I'll be surprised. I encourage people to shop local and source cheap/free items. You can use natural dyes for this technique if you like. I chat about various papers in this class, most people have easy access to a range of papers.

Q: Can we have access to the dyes you use in New Zealand?

A: Unfortunately, the company I get my dyes from do not ship outside New Zealand. However, I have an international student base who have access to a range of dyes from around the world. I even had a student in Eygpt who used Henna! This technique does not rely on my dyes to make it work. I've seen stunning results from a variety of dyes.

Q: Can I teach people how to dye paper using your method?

Please don't! I've developed this technique over 10 years. One day I might develop a train the trainer programme in which case then it will be a yes!

Q: Why are you so secretive about this technique?

It's so unique you won't find it anywhere else. In this day and age where everyone shares everything, it's actually lovely to have something with a bit of mystery and intrigue! This is also how I make my living as an artist. I have created a warm and inclusive community which is not secretive! You can be part of this if you want to buy the class.
