You are buying ONE book - the photograph of all the books is showing you the books all together as a collection.

This has been a most interesting collection. I was given the title many, many years ago and didn't really understand what it wanted of me until recently. 

When I realised it was a collection on books - I knew they would be very different to anything I have ever created before. It took a lot of work to figure out what they wanted at first as they seemed to be contradicting themselves - they wanted to be both hard and soft. 

So I've constructed these books in a unique way (to me anyway) with a hard spine and very soft covers. The covers have many, many layers to them and if you're not familiar with my style, it's raw and organic. Threads hang off the covers and my infamous 'curly bits' are present on the papers. 

The books are heartfelt and years of experience and a love of bookmaking have gone into them. They can be used as works of art to look at and appreciate or practical books for journalling and recording dreams.

It has approximately 140 pages if you write on both sides

The papers inside the books have been dyed using my technique: Dyed & Gone to Heaven.

The dye isn't set  (so don't cry on it, spill your wine or take it swimming). It's mostly wet strength cartridge paper with a few extra different types of paper to play with. 

I create the books, pack and send them to you. So they come to you with love and all their little handmade foibles (i.e some of the papers get a little torn during the dyeing process. But I LOVE this, and still pop them into the books. 

The books will travel in a handmade pouch and contain a small packet of ten hand-dyed pieces of paper in various colours and weights. And also an envelope of a few scrap pieces of papers from my studio table. The papers have been wrapped in dress pattern paper so you can use all of the packing for art!
